Aeroflow Nitro Hot Rods CANCELLED Rd 1 Club Championships still going ahead

With the November 4th date surrounded by other events and the current economic climate in Whyalla it become very apparent this event was going to struggle to be a viable option so we have decided to cancel this event. The Aeroflow Nitro Hot Rods are an amazing spectacle and we are sure they will be back at a later date.

“When the decision came that the Nitro Hot Rod event wasn’t viable, we as a joint venture wanted to put all our resources into making sure the April 7th Aeroflow Nitro Funny Car’s event is the biggest event Steel City Drag Way has ever promoted” says Mark Kuhn (President of the Steel City Drag Club). With a minimum of 10 Nitro Funny Cars, 2 Nitro Wheel Standers and fantastic support field and another amazing firework display this will be an event that everyone needs to put on the calendar.

For those competitors that are wanting to support the Steel City Drag Club on Saturday November 4th, entries are still open until the 30th October for Round 1 of the Club Championship with qualifying from 1 – 5pm and racing from 6pm.
